I'd like to thank you for keeping this wonderful and informative blog. I stumbled upon it while doing research for my own pre-graduate thesis which also deals with the subject of pictorial narratives and the semiotic elements that are used to craft them.
When I started, I had the impression that there was not a lot of interest or focus given to this particular perspective of study, so I was beyond thrilled when I found your blog: someone else who has the same fascination with the subject as I do, and is working on a wonderful project to realize it!
For some time now, I've been searching for ways to realize this interest of mine and trying to figure out what I'm going to do with it (not to mention, gather research material for my own thesis), and then I found this blog. As I read through it and found new perspectives on familiar subjects and concepts I'd never even thought of before-- I felt that I had found a fellow. Therefore, I hope you can understand my dismay when I discovered that the final chapter of your process story was not included in your entrees!
... I realize this blog was probably made as a purely personal endeavor and was never intended to pander to any kind of reader-base, but I would also like to think that you'd understand the feelings of a fellow student. I assume you've gone on to do many more amazing things since writing this blog 5 years ago, as well as finished your thesis, and I guess what I'm saying is: I would be terribly grateful if you would continue to post your findings from over the years, and maybe even provide your readers with some conclusion to the epic tale of your thesis process. I think your area of interest is delightful and fascinating, and it's only right that you proudly display the culmination of all your efforts.
Even if nothing comes of it, I hope this comment has served to encourage you in your endeavors, and you will continue to find success and happiness in doing what you love.
